Peripheral Pulse
Eyes centre. Catch what flickers at the edge.
What this trains
Peripheral detection while holding a central focus.
This game trains the underlying capacity your game leans on. Direct transfer from screen to pitch is limited and debated — we don’t claim it makes you a better player. We claim it trains the capacity, scores you honestly, and is worth your ten minutes.
How to play
The centre zone shows a large digit that changes every few seconds. Your target digit is shown in the header. Tap the centre whenever the digit matches your target — and only then.
While you hold that central focus, orange pulses appear briefly in the left or right zone. Tap that side to register each pulse before it fades.
Your score combines peripheral accuracy with central accuracy — abandoning the centre digit task to chase pulses drags the combined score down. 60 seconds, continuous difficulty ramp.
Peripheral Pulse
Eyes centre. The big digit changes every few seconds — tap the centre area when it matches your target. Orange pulses appear left or right: tap that side to register them. You can't win by ignoring the centre.
